Codiak BioSciences is constructing a 12,000-sf clinical manufacturing center in Lexington, Mass. The project includes the build-out of a leased lab and office building to create a GMP facility for the production of exosome therapeutics. Codiak is incorporating G-CON Manufacturing's PODs into the center to provide flexible cleanroom capacity. The prefabricated units offer exceptional scalability and mobility, and can be easily repurposed to meet future needs. The cleanroom infrastructure is being installed in parallel with the retrofit of the building to significantly shorten the construction timeline. Completion is expected in late 2020.
Codiak is also renovating an existing building to create a new headquarters in Cambridge, Mass. Hereva is the design and construction consultant for both projects.
