Simmons College has announced a three-year, $51 million expansion of its campus at Fenway. A new five-story, 60,000-sf academic building will house the graduate school of social work, new library, and technology resource center. The $21 million facility is scheduled for completion by fall 2002. The school's residence halls will also be upgraded.

Methodist Healthcare System (MHS) will renovate 60,000 sf of a 150,000-sf former hosppital building at the South Texas Medical Center to consolidate its administrative/support functions currently located in leased space in several buildings.

Sutton Macina Sutton Architecture & Interiors of San Antonio will assist with architecture and space planning for the $2 million project. Move-in is scheduled to begin in May or June 2000 and be completed by September.

Network Appliance Inc. moved into its new 206,000-sf headquarters in summer 1999, with two buildings at the site still under construction. Late April is the scheduled completion date for all three buildings, which will total 360,000 sf.

Now the company is seeking approval for an additional 215,000 sf across the street, where Network would remodel one existing building, demolish a second and build a new one. Network manufactures network file servers.
