Aviation Institute of Maintenance Relocates to Northeast Philadelphia Airport
Aviation Institute of Maintenance has relocated to a $2-million, 16,000-sf facility constructed for the school by Turner Construction at the Northeast Philadelphia Airport. Formerly known as the Quaker City Institute of Aviation, the school moved to its new location from South Philadelphia.
Storage Technology Relocates Regional Office
Storage Technology, a global data storage firm operating as StorageTek, is relocating its regional office from Silver Spring into 25,000-sf at the Lyndwood Executive Center in Elkridge, Md. The Louisville, Colo.-based firm will relocate 135 employees for the company's public sector marketing business unit to the new facility by early 2003. The relocation is estimated to cost $2.5-million.
Epsilon Constructs Wakefield Data Center
Epsilon has awarded Boston-based Structure Tone of Massachusetts the construction management contract for the interior construction of 90,000 sf of new office space and a 10,000-sf data center in Wakefield.
National Surgical Opens Spine Hospital of South Texas
National Surgical Hospitals (NSH) opened the 30-bed Spine Hospital of South Texas and an accompanying medical office building in September. A joint venture of NSH and approximately 20 local physicians, the $30-million Stone Oak medical development will specialize in surgical spine care and pain management. The facility is designed to eventually expand to 40 rooms.
Idec Pharmaceuticals Breaks Ground on Corporate Headquarters
