Nova Southeastern University Relocates to South Orlando
Nova Southeastern University has relocated from Winter Park to a 60,000-sf building sited on ten acres at Millenia Center in south Orlando, Fla. The 3-story facility features a 900-seat lecture hall, a 300-seat meeting facility, a large conference center, multiple computer labs, and more than 700 parking spaces. Enabling Nova Southeastern to expand its Orlando programs, the $12-million building will accommodate more than 1,100 students in 38 classrooms. The grand opening was celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004.
Analytical Graphics Expand in Malvern
Analytical Graphics has expanded with the lease of 67,000 sf in the Valley Creek Corporate Center in Malvern, Pa. Analytical Graphics, previously located in 37,500 sf at Malvern’s Commons at Valley Forge, makes geospatial analysis and visualization software for the aerospace, defense, and intelligence industries.
Bayer Diagnostics Relocates to Norwood
Bayer Healthcare Diagnostics Division is relocating from Medfield to 100,000-sf in Norwood, Mass. A $5-million wet lab will be developed in the facility prior to occupancy in January 2005.
Boston Medical Develops Moakley Cancer Center
Boston Medical Center has selected RF Walsh as construction manager for the $95-million Moakley Medical Services Building, a 130,000-sf cancer facility.
Time Warner Opens New York Headquarters
Time Warner opened its new headquarters in New York City in early February 2004. The $1.7-billion facility will house the future Manhattan studios of CNN. The two-tower development accommodates 211,000 sf of office space. The 2.8 million-sf complex also contains a luxury hotel and high-end retail space.
