Arizona State University and Wexford Science+Technology opened the PBC Innovation Center on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus in March of 2021. Strategically collocating academic investigators with private companies to foster collaboration and discovery, the 225,000-sf facility provides wet and dry lab environments, offices, meeting spaces, and retail amenities. ASU is leasing 112,000 sf of space in the seven-story structure to accommodate researchers from the Biodesign Institute, the College of Health Solutions, and the College of Nursing and Health Innovation. The building also houses the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute. Designed by HKS Architects, the sustainably designed project has attained LEED Gold certification. Ground was broken on the PBC Innovation Center in March of 2019.
