Rowan University is constructing the $46.7 million Discovery Hall in Glassboro, N.J. Providing a holistic learning environment for STEM programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, the four-story, 68,000-sf facility will offer six active-learning classrooms, six lecture classrooms, two conference rooms, student collaboration spaces, and faculty offices. Accommodating the School of Earth and Environment and the College of Science and Mathematics, the building will include four chemistry labs, two biology labs, an environmental science lab, a geology and paleontology lab, and two faculty research labs. The project was designed by KSS Architects and is being built by New Road Construction. Occupancy expected in late 2021.
