Beacon Pharmaceuticals is planning to break ground by early 2020 on a 150,000-sf biosciences accelerator and headquarters facility in Jupiter, Fla. Designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design, the $80 million facility will feature a pharmaceutical business incubator to support early-stage companies from concept to commercialization. The collaborative three-story project will also include an expansive atrium, R&D labs, biologics synthesis suites, offices, conference rooms, and manufacturing areas for the production of stem cell therapies and cGMP clinical trial supplies. Gentile Glas Holloway O'Mahoney & Associates is providing landscape architecture and civil planning services. Completion is expected in mid-2021.
