The New Hampshire Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory is building a new 6,500-sf facility in Durham. Located on the campus of the University of New Hampshire, the $2.5 million project will support the detection and diagnosis of infectious diseases. The facility represents a partnership between the UNH College of Life Sciences and Agriculture and the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food. The lab will provide histopathology, microbiology, serology, and necropsy services to the state’s agricultural, veterinary, wildlife, and public health sectors, as well as offering students biomedical research and training opportunities. Completion is expected in August of 2015.
