Exact Sciences Corporation will begin construction in spring of 2022 on the Research and Development Center of Excellence in Madison, Wis. Designed by Potter Lawson, the 266,000-sf facility will catalyze further innovations in multi-cancer early detection and enhance the company's flagship product, Cologuard. Completion is expected in 2024.

Creating 1,300 new jobs, the project is part of a $350 million expansion of Exact Sciences' headquarters campus. Construction is already under way on two additional facilities that are slated for occupancy in late 2022. A new laboratory will leverage advanced automation solutions to significantly increase capacity for product development and testing, and a temperature-controlled warehouse will provide specialized suites for the storage of hazardous and sensitive materials.
