Indiana University of Pennsylvania Breaks Ground on Natural Sciences and Mathematics Facility

Indiana University of Pennsylvania broke ground in September of 2020 on the $90 million Kopchick Hall in Indiana, Pa. Designed by PWWG Architects, the highly flexible facility will provide the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics with 16 reconfigurable teaching labs, 43 research lab modules, three classrooms, and two multifunctional computer labs. The four-story, 142,536-gsf building will also house faculty and departmental offices, conference rooms, study spaces, tutoring rooms, collaboration areas, a planetarium, and a terrace with a partially green roof. Occupancy is expected in fall of 2023.
