The Milwaukee School of Engineering is building the $34 million Dwight and Dian Diercks Computational Science Hall in Milwaukee. Designed by Uihlein/Wilson - Ramlow/Stein Architects to accommodate programs in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and robotics, the 64,000-sf facility will provide technology-rich classrooms, teaching and research labs, a 256-seat auditorium, 32 faculty and staff offices, a business incubator, and a data center with a GPU-accelerated supercomputer. Ground was broken on the project in mid-2018 and completion is expected in fall of 2019.
