Clemson University is building the $90 million College of Business in North Charleston, S.C. Comprising two towers connected on the ground and first floors by an expansive outdoor stairway and plaza, the collaborative 176,000-sf facility will provide classrooms, labs, an atrium, a board room, a business center, incubator space, a café, a flat-floor auditorium with 220 seats, and faculty and administrative offices. The project team includes LMN Architects, architect of record LS3P, construction manager DPR Construction, and general contractor Sherman Construction. Ground was broken on the facility in October of 2017 and occupancy is expected in 2020. LEED Silver sustainable design certification will be sought for the project.
