Newburgh, Indiana
Deaconess Health System opened the $135 million Orthopedic and Neuroscience Hospital in May of 2018 in Newburgh, Ind. Designed by Hafer Architects, the six-story facility features a multidisciplinary ortho-neuro surgical clinic and an urgent orthopedic care center. Located at Gateway Hospital, the facility links two existing towers via an atrium and features patient rooms with floor-to-ceiling glass. The general contractor for the project was Barton Malow. An adjacent five-story, 100,000-sf medical office building is also being constructed.
