PerkinElmer is renovating and expanding its research facilities in Hopkinton, Mass. The project includes construction of a two-story, 40,000-sf office addition and conversion of a floor in an existing building to provide 16,000 sf of chemical and biochemical laboratories. The facility will include a vivarium to support research with animal models. Lastly, an adjacent high bay warehouse building will undergo a 15,000-sf expansion to house light manufacturing and office space. The project was designer by Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects. The construction manager is JM Coull.
