Little Rock, Ark.
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock opened the $15 million Center for Integrative Nanotechnology Sciences in May of 2012. The five-story, 50,534-sf project provides research facilities for scientists and students to explore the interface between nanomaterials, plant biology, and mammalian biology, and houses advanced laboratories, offices, and a rooftop greenhouse. LEED Gold sustainable design certification will be sought for the building. The facility was designed by Witsell Evans Rasco and built by East Harding with TME providing engineering services.
