Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Dedicates Biomedical Tower

Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation dedicated its $125 million research tower in April of 2011. Located in Oklahoma City, the 186,000-sf facility houses 34 laboratories, clinical space, and a 3,400-sf cryostorage suite. The tower is designed to promote collaboration among researchers with common areas at the core of the building and labs arranged in research pods. Construction began on the project in 2009. The facility has attained LEED Gold sustainable design certification and features a living roof, daylighting, windmills, and a sophisticated HVAC system.
