Research, Innovation, Learning and Development Centre Planned in Exeter

Construction will begin in April of 2012 on the Research, Innovation, Learning and Development Centre in Exeter in the United Kingdom. The medical research facility represents a partnership of the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, the University of Exeter, and Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry. Designed by Devereux Architects, the four-story building will include a central hub and several wings. Interserve has been awarded a $30.3 million contract to construct the facility. A BREEAM Excellent rating will be sought for the project, which will feature a rooftop photovoltaic array. Completion is expected in October of 2013.
