William Paterson University completed construction of the 67,000-sf Science Annex in July of 2010 in Wayne, N.J. The facility houses an atrium, classrooms, lecture halls, 18 research labs, and 12 teaching labs. The technology-rich addition was designed by HOK to foster interaction and collaboration between faculty and students in the disciplines of biology, biotechnology, molecular research, physics, chemistry, physiology, environmental science, and ecology. HOK also designed phase two of the project, a renovation of the existing 165,000-sf Science Building.
