Weill Cornell Medical College Breaks Ground on Research Building

Weill Cornell Medical College broke ground on the $650 million Medical Research Building in New York on May 26, 2010. The 480,000-sf facility will support interdisciplinary research on cancer, stem cells, diabetes, and infectious diseases. Laboratories will occupy 13 floors of the 18-story building. Completion is expected in July of 2013.
