National Cancer Institute Builds Advanced Technology Research Facility

The National Cancer Institute is building the $250 million Advanced Technology Research Facility in Frederick, Md. Construction began on the project in fall of 2009 with completion expected in 2012. Located in the Riverside Research Park, the 330,000-sf biomedical research building will house laboratories and offices. The National Cancer Institute is managed by the National Institutes of Health.
