Aurora College Breaks Ground on Western Arctic Research Centre

Aurora College broke ground in March of 2010 on the $11 million Western Arctic Research Institute in Inuvik, Canada. Located in the Northwest Territories two degrees above the Arctic Circle, the sustainably-designed facility will house three flexible laboratories that can be adapted into classrooms, conference rooms, space for visiting researchers, and a workshop. Completion is expected in March of 2011.
