GAINESVILLE, Fla.
The University of Florida's Institute on Aging will construct a 40,000-sf clinical and translational research complex in Gainesville. Supported by $15 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding awarded by the National Institutes of Health, the interdisciplinary project will provide laboratories, training rooms, conference rooms, and facilities for clinical research recruitment and assessment. LEED Platinum sustainable design certification will be sought for the four-story complex.
