Princeton University Plans High-Performance Research Computing Center

Princeton University is planning to construct the 40,000-sf High-Performance Research Computing Center in Plainsboro, N.J.  Located on the Forrestal Campus, the two-story building will include a computing area, mechanical and electrical support, and office space. Occupancy is expected in 2011. The facility will house the Terrascale Infrastructure for Groundbreaking Research in Engineering and Science (TIGRESS). The project is being designed by Gensler of San Francisco with AKF Group of Boston as engineer and CS Technology of New York as project manager.
