Construction of the 41,000-square-foot New England Regional Biosafety Laboratory at Tufts University is now complete. The Flad & Associates design executed by Gilbane features BSL-2 and BSL-3 labs, an ABSL-3 vivarium and an insectary. This building is part of the NIH/NIAID biosafety laboratory network, providing researchers in the region with containment infrastrucutre required for infectious disease and biodefense work.
