University of Edinburgh Builds Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine

The University of Edinburgh has selected Miller Construction to build the £54 million Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the university's BioQuarter site in Edinburgh. The three-story, 8,900-sm project is slated for completion in mid-2011. The facility represents the first phase of the planned £600 million, 130,000-sm BioQuarter research campus. BioQuarter is a collaboration between the University of Edinburgh, Scottish Enterprise, NHS Lothian, the City of Edinburgh Council, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, and Lothian University Hospitals NHS Trust.
