Davie, Fla.
Florida Atlantic University initiated construction in January of 2009 on a $30 million research facility in Davie. The 75,000-sf project will support research on the Everglades region and will be shared with the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences. The sustainably-designed facility is sited on 25 acres and is slated for completion in fall of 2010.
