Binghamton University Constructs Science Building

Binghamton University will begin construction in early 2009 on $36 million science building in Vestal, N.Y. The 65,000-sf Science V will house research laboratories and instructional space for the departments of psychology and biological sciences. Completion is slated for spring of 2011. Binghamton University will also begin building a $66 million, two-story engineering building at the Innovative Technologies Complex in February of 2009. The project will house the departments of electrical and computer engineering and mechanical engineering, the Integrated Electronics Engineering Center, research laboratories, and a business incubator.
