Air Force Partners with UDRI on Alternative Fuel Research Facility

The Air Force Research Laboratory is partnering with University of Dayton Research Institute to build and operate an alternative fuel research facility at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. The 4,000-sf Alternative Aerospace Fuels Research Facility, located near the existing Fuels and Lubricants Laboratory, will support the creation of jet fuel from coal and biomass. Completion is slated for summer of 2010.
