Ushering in a new era of engineering program space optimization, Penn State’s Engineering Collaborative Research & Education (ECoRE) Building delivers best-in-class research laboratories and specialized core facilities; next-generation teaching space; a new and expanded knowledge commons, and offices. Matt Zerphy and Craig Dubler illustrate key components and differentiators of a thematically-organized shared resources model that will change the culture of the College of Engineering for decades.
