-DVM and PhD from U of Minnesota, inaugural student in the combined DVM PhD program
-Postdoctoral training and lab animal residency at MIT
-Worked in many great programs including Yale, Boston University, Merck (opened the Boston research site) and Washington University (involved with design, equipment selection, staffing plan, and occupancy plan for a 40,000 cage vertical vivarium in the newly-opened Neuroscience Research Building)
-Earned Six Sigma Green and Black Belts at Merck, and enjoys applying those techniques to projects large and small. Huge fan (and certified trainer) for Lean/5S
