Hillsboro Hops is constructing a $120 million ballpark in the Portland metropolitan area to foster athletic excellence and create a vibrant fan experience. Designed by SRG + CannonDesign and Populous, this premier sports destination will provide leading-edge amenities and serve as a hub for community events, concerts, and festivals. The 229,000-sf stadium will accommodate 6,000 occupants for baseball games, with a total capacity of 7,000. The artificial turf playing surface will sit eight feet below the stands in the bowl, and a 32-foot cantilevered canopy will protect the interior from rain and sun. A glassed-in premium club will offer 500 seats on the second level. Fans will also benefit from access to a beer garden, a children’s play zone, and a grass berm beyond the outfield wall for informal gathering.

Replacing the existing Hops stadium, the new sports hub will meet increased Major League Baseball standards and double the space available for player development. Indoor batting tunnels standing 16 feet high will be complemented by a weight room, expanded clubhouses, and upgraded facilities for coaches and umpires.
