Penn State Health began construction in June of 2024 on the fit-out of its comprehensive cancer center in Enola. Designed by Flad Architects, the 43,000-sf facility will ensure that patients can access world-class care delivered by a multidisciplinary team of specialists. The Penn State Health Cancer Center will feature a dedicated entrance on the ground level, inviting social spaces, advanced chemotherapy and radiation suites, and an onsite medical laboratory. Enabling the translation of research discoveries into lifesaving therapies, the four-story structure will accommodate sophisticated diagnostic instrumentation to optimize patient outcomes.

Strategically sited at Hampden Medical Center, the development represents an expansion of Penn State Health's integrated network of comprehensive cancer services. The project team includes Benchmark Construction, MEP/FP engineer WSP, civil engineer Pennoni Associates, and medical equipment planner Adams. Corbin Design is providing wayfinding and signage solutions. Occupancy is expected in October of 2025.
