Brighton, Mich.
The University of Michigan Health System opened the $175 million Brighton Center for Specialty Care in September of 2018. Offering over 50 adult and pediatric specialty services, the two-story, 297,000-sf ambulatory care facility provides a comprehensive musculoskeletal center, surgical suites, a sleep lab, an infusion therapy clinic, and a radiation oncology center. The project also houses the Kellogg Eye Center, a cardiovascular clinic, and a magnetic resonance imaging suite. Although not offering emergency or urgent care, the facility will accommodate surgeries that require a 23-hour stay. Ground was broken on the project in July of 2016.
