Canisius College is building the interdisciplinary Science Hall in Buffalo, N.Y. The first $68 million phase was completed in August of 2012, comprising renovations to the first and lower levels of the building to create teaching labs and offices for the departments of computer science, mathematics/statistics, and physics. Construction will begin in 2016 on the next $17.8 million phase of construction, which includes fit-out of the second floor of the building for programs in anthrozoology, biology, pre-med, animal behavior, ecology, and conservation. 10,500 sf of leasable space will also be built. The third floor renovations are expected to cost $15 million.
