Marian University opened the $55 million Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences in August of 2013 in Indianapolis. Housing the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Nursing, the facility supports the implementation of team-based curriculum, experiential learning, and interprofessional education. Designed by Indianapolis architecture firms BSA LifeStructures and Schmidt Associates, the 140,000-sf center provides patient simulation centers, an anatomy lab, an osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) lab, a skills lab, classrooms, lecture halls, and administrative offices. Ground was broken on the project in August of 2011.
