Georgia Gwinnett College Builds Allied Health & Sciences Building

Georgia Gwinnett College is building the $30 million Allied Health and Science Building in Lawrenceville. Ground was broken on the 91,150-sf facility in March of 2013 and completion is expected in June of 2014. Designed by Smith Carter and TVS Design, the three-story facility will provide classrooms, faculty offices, seven chemistry labs, six biology labs, three physics lab, and labs for psychology, exercise science, IT systems, and digital media. The project will provide space for the college’s nursing program and is being built by Holder Construction Company with EMCOR-subsidiary Dynalectric as electrical subcontractor.
