A new medical skills lab and a two-story addition providing technology-rich classrooms, faculty offices, computer labs, and informal learning spaces will also be constructed. The second $4.5 million phase of construction includes new teaching labs for chemistry and biology and renovation of existing computer science facilities. A third possible construction phase with a value of $3.5 million may include renovations of Dordt's physics and agricultural labs and construction of a field project lab and an astronomical observatory.
