Duke University School of Medicine celebrated the opening of the $53 million Mary Duke Biddle Trent Semans Center for Health Education in February of 2013. Located in Durham, N.C., the six-story, 104,000-sf facility features simulation labs for medical training as well as mock surgical suites, emergency rooms, and clinical offices. The Center for Health Education also houses an auditorium, a learning hall, study rooms, and flexible classrooms for team-based learning.
