Vincennes, Ind.
Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind., broke ground in June of 2012 on a $109 million patient tower addition and renovation. The project consists of a new five-story, 200,000-sf tower and the redesign of the existing healthcare facility. The 120-bed inpatient tower features the Cardiac Center of Excellence, a state-of-the-art cardiology unit, complete with a standard and a hybrid catheterization laboratory. The facility also boasts improved spaces for orthopedics and obstetrics. LEED sustainable design certification will be sought for the project, which will include construction of a new central plant energy center. The design architect is BSA LifeStructures.
