Evanston, Ill.
Northwestern University is planning to build a new facility to house the Bienen School of Music in Evanston, Ill. The 150,000-sf building will include teaching labs, faculty offices, classrooms, teaching studios, practice rooms, a 400-seat recital hall, and a theater. The facility will also provide space for the School of Communication. Construction will begin in May of 2012 with occupancy expected in fall of 2015.
