Lake Superior College Opens Health and Science Building

Lake Superior College opened the $12.1 million Health and Science Building in January of 2012 in Duluth, Minn. Designed by LHB in association with Ross-Barney Architects, the 36,712-sf facility provides technology-rich teaching labs, advanced classrooms, a nursing simulation center, training and exam rooms, and patient care space. The building was constructed by Shaw-Lundquist Associates and features a high-performance HVAC system, skylights for distribution of natural light, and non-toxic construction materials.
