Kirklees College is building the 2.65 acre Waterfront complex in Huddersfield in the United Kingdom. The 269,000-sf project includes a nine-story academic building and a five-story library and student services facility. The Waterfront campus was designed by Broadway Malyan and is expected to attain BREEAM sustainable design certification. A new engineering building is also being constructed for a total investment of $126 million. Occupancy of both projects is expected in September of 2012.
