The 680,000-sf Virtua Voorhees Hospital opened in September of 2011 in Voorhees, N.J. Providing 368 beds in private rooms, the $463 million facility was designed using Six Sigma and LEAN principles to promote optimal integration of workflow and patient care processes. Virtua Voorhees houses facilities for emergency care, ambulatory surgery, pediatrics, neuroscience, cardiology, oncology, women's services, and imaging.
