Rush University Medical Center's Tower Reaches Substantial Completion

Rush University Medical Center’s $654 million hospital tower reached substantial completion in July of 2011. The 14-story, 806,000-sf facility is located in Chicago and was designed by Perkins+Will. The construction manager is Powers/Jacobs. Construction began on the 304-bed facility in fall of 2008 and occupancy is expected in January of 2012. LEED Gold sustainable design certification will be sought for the project.
