EAST LANSING, MICH.
Michigan State University is building the $17.6 million Bott Building for Nursing Education and Research in East Lansing. The three-story, 50,000-sf facility will provide teaching labs, classrooms, conference rooms, faculty offices, and 20,906 gsf of research space. Ground was broken on the project in September of 2010 with occupancy expected in October of 2012. LEED Gold sustainable design certification will be sought for the facility, which will feature a ground-source geothermal heating and cooling system. The general contractor for the project is Granger Construction.
