LAFAYETTE, LA.
Lourdes Health System celebrated the opening of the $211 million Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, La., in June of 2011. The six-story, 396,000-sf replacement hospital provides emergency, surgery, imaging, trauma, pharmacy, and laboratory services. Opening with 164 beds, the facility is designed to expand to a total of eight stories and 332 beds. Ground was broken on the project in December of 2009.
