Temecula, Calif.
Ground was broken on the new Temecula Valley Hospital in June of 2011. The five-story, 178,000-sf acute care facility is being developed by Universal Health Services Design and Construction. The project team includes HMC Architects, DPR Construction, and Turner Construction Company. The 140-bed facility will feature entirely private rooms, a flexible emergency department, a 20-bed ICU, six surgical suites, and advanced imaging technologies. LEAN construction methodology will be utilized in the hospital's construction. Completion is expected in summer of 2013.
