BURLINGAME, CALIF.
Sutter Health opened the $618 million Mills-Peninsula Medical Center in May of 2011. Located in Burlingame, Calif., the 450,000-sf facility comprises two structures connected by a lobby and is built with base isolation technology to meet state seismic regulations. The six-story hospital houses 241 private rooms and nine surgical suites. Construction began on the project in January of 2007.
