Purdue University dedicated the $1.5 million Lyles Family Ideas to Innovation Laboratory in April of 2011. Located in the Civil Engineering Building on the Purdue campus in West Lafayette, Ind., the facility will support an advanced pedagogy of integrated instruction, experimentation, and computer simulation. The flexible space can be divided into four specialized areas and includes student workstations for simulation of experiments. The laboratory features a glass wall for public display of teaching and research.
