Jupiter Medical Center Expands in Florida

Jupiter Medical Center is planning a $44.2 million expansion and renovation of its Florida hospital. The design-build contractor for the project is The Haskell Company. The three-story, 75,000-sf Florence A. De George Pavilion will be built as an addition to the existing hospital, in which 50,000 sf of space will be renovated. The pavilion will house obstetrics, a neonatal ICU, 28 private patient rooms, a rehabilitation gymnasium, the 9,000-sf foot Raso Education Center. Construction will begin in fall of 2011 with completion expected in spring of 2013.
